OVERVIEW

Permint Plywood Sdn Bhd (“PPSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Golden Pharos Berhad (“GPB”) , was incorporated on 27 April 1981. It started operations in May 1983 at Bandar Al Muktafi Billah Shah, Dungun, Terengganu and was acquired by Permint Timber Corporation Sdn Bhd (“PTC”) in 1996 through a reverse takeover by GPB. PPSB’s principal activities are the production and sale of veneer, plywood and agarwood oil. The plywood factory has a production capacity of about 5,000 cubic metres per month. PPSB produced different grades of plywood mainly used in the housing and furniture industry and exported to United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Singapore.
